Who was „Sankt Nikolaus“, who is the „Christkind“ and what is an „Adventskranz“? We wanna show you, how we celebrate Christmas in Germany and invite you to a traditional and cosy Christmas celebration! We will bake Christmas cookies and there will be „Glühwein“ (hot spiced wine), non-alcohol punch and gingerbread! Please bring a little (funny) gift with you. Something you don´t need anymore or something which doesn´t cost more than 3 Euro. Examples are an old book, a squirt gun or costume jewellery. What we do is called “wichteln” – that means we will exchange our funny gifts – the funnier it is, the better! The christmas celebration will take place at the Martinsgemeinde Tübingen im Martinssaal (Frischlinstraße 33, 72074 Tübingen) It starts at 6.30 p.m. Costs: none! But you need to register! Please register only if you are really coming!! Registration: http://en.studit-tuebingen.de/aktivitaeten/registration |
