                                       „Advent, Advent,

                                     ein Lichtlein brennt!

Erst eins, dann zwei, dann drei, dann vier,

dann steht das Christkind vor der Tür!“

(german traditional christmas poem)

… But who was this „Christkind“ and why four candles are burning till christmas in Germany?

We would like to celebrate a traditional german Christmas party with you and make a lot of typical Christmas stuff  - like baking Christmas cookies, trinking “Glühwein” (hot spiced wine), eating ginger bread and have a good evening together.

Please bring a little (funny) gift with you. Something you don´t need anymore or something which doesn´t cost more than 5 Euro. Examples are an old book, costume jewellery or funny toys . Please gift-wrap your present, because what we do is called “wichteln" – that means we will exchange our funny gifts – the funnier it is, the better!

Our christmas party will take place at the 18th December at Martinsgemeinde Tübingen in Martinssaal (Frischlinstraße 33, 72074 Tübingen).
It starts at 7.30 p.m.

Costs: 3€

Pay-dates: you can pay on the 5th or 12th December during our office hours on Fridays (12-2 p.m.).

Looking forward to see you guys!
